CREATIVE DUO

At some point, Monique and Valerie's paths crossed. Sharing the same values and passion for interior design & aesthetics in general, they realised that their skills complement each other perfectly. So they decided to join forces and work together for Houses of M&V.

Their mission is to design and realize each project in an individual way, in adequacy with the lifestyle and the personality of their customers while mastering the technical and budgetary constraints. All this with a great sense of respect and discretion.

Monique studied interior architecture and psychology. She has been active for many years in the broad field of real estate, but it was in 2013 that she started her company Houses Of MO in the field of home staging, which was not known in French-speaking Switzerland at the time. She succeeded in convincing numerous real estate agencies and private clients that a property prepared for sale would find buyers more quickly and at a higher price. In this way, she was able to position herself as a competent contact person and successfully complete all her projects. 

With her strong creative and commercial sense, she supports her clients in their projects in a professional, dynamic and responsive manner. Monique adopted Switzerland as her home country in 1987. She defines herself as a "globetrotter", speaks fluent French, English, German and Swiss German. Passionate about architecture, art and decoration, she has managed to combine her passion with her profession.

 

Valérie studied economics and completed her education with a diploma in sales and marketing. She made her professional career in various multinational companies where she held different positions in human resources, sales & marketing in Geneva, Zürich and Vevey. She has strong project management skills. She has managed many complex projects in different fields of activity.

She has also worked in the gastronomic field where she was in charge of launching a new company. She developed a range of high quality gastronomic products (wine, coffee, chocolates, tableware) and an event concept for commercial clients.

She has always been passionate about architecture, art, design and interior decoration. Two years ago, she decided to turn her passion into a profession. She therefore trained as an interior designer and home stager. Valerie speaks French, Italian, German and English.
